About the Age Calculator
Pick your date of birth and this age calculator instantly reports your exact age in years, months and days — not just a rounded number of years. It also shows the total number of days you have been alive and counts down the days to your next birthday, which makes it a favorite for milestone planning, birthday cards and settling how-old-exactly debates.
The arithmetic is calendar-aware: it borrows days and months correctly, respects the different lengths of each month, and handles leap years without drifting. Chronological age like this is also what schools, employers and visa forms usually ask for. Your birth date is processed entirely in your browser and never uploaded, so there is nothing to sign up for and nothing to worry about.

Frequently asked questions
How is exact age calculated?
The calculator subtracts your birth date from today component by component: years, then months, then days. When the day or month goes negative it borrows from the next unit, using the real length of the previous month. That mirrors how people naturally state age, such as 34 years, 7 months and 12 days.
How do I find out how many days old I am?
Total days lived is the elapsed time between your birth date and today divided by 86,400,000 milliseconds per day. The calculator displays this figure automatically with thousands separators — crossing 10,000 or 20,000 days alive is a popular unofficial milestone worth celebrating.
What about a February 29 birthday?
Leap-day birthdays are handled: in leap years your birthday counts as February 29, and in common years the next-birthday countdown rolls to March 1, the day after February 28. Your age in years still increments once every calendar year like everyone else's.
Why is my age in months not just total days divided by 30?
Because real months are 28 to 31 days long, dividing by a flat 30 drifts by several days per year. This calculator counts genuine calendar months between your birth date and today, so the months and days figures always line up with an actual calendar.
Is my date of birth stored or shared?
No. The date you pick is processed by JavaScript running locally in your browser and is never transmitted, logged or stored anywhere. Close the tab and it is gone. The tool is free, needs no account, and works offline once the page has loaded.
